“Shangri-la”

I don’t know the beginning and I haven’t seen the other side

Nothing’s going to stop me from going on this ride

Turna def ear or give me the blind eye but nothing’s

going to stop me from ridding out this high

Staring out my window I find the seasons pass me by

I can’t believe I find myself this close to the sky

It’s not hard to imagine that this might be paradise

But if it’s not I don’t care because the seems so nice

 Oh shangri-la

Sitting high in the morning air as I prepare for the day

The sun comes shinning through I need no help but relay

That the pictures are in motion reveling reality unbound

Discovering the thoughts that once were lost only

Now to be found seeing the trees feeling the breeze

Brings them to life taking me one step closer to

This world as I move through this life

I can here the sound of inspiration all around

I could jump so high I might never come down

As the music is playing the people are saying they

Can’t believe what they have found nobody expected

A time like this to roll through this town

Oh Shangri-la

Inspiration can appear in so many ways

I like to find it on those lazy days

When the words seem to fall straight from the sky

I sit back in the shade I don’t need to wonder why

The green from the trees and the blue from the sky

Leaves me with a feeling like no other high

And if you stop to look I think you’ll agree

That the feeling im describing can come so naturally

So open up you eyes and ears to see what you need to see

To be to grow to show the whole world what it means to be free

Oh Shangri-la
