“Self made man”

I’m resilient I consider myself brilliant

I’m always outstanding in my field

And when I’m around you know I’ll be milling

Around town up and down town on and off the beat

You might even catch me as I’m walking in my sleep

But then again talk is cheap so I’ll flaunt the funky style

So that you know that it’s full and filling

To stand as tall as you can is the vibe that I’m instilling upon you

You’ll never be able to stop the people’s friend’s grooves from cutting through

And you know I can always find the time

To throw some burgers on the grill tip the Bombay into my glass

Add some tonic and ice to chill

I write rhymes daily far out like such comets

As discovered by Edmond Halley

I always have my pencil paper pad in hand

And I’ve always been a believer in I think I think I can

I can and will and this is where I stand its all about the music

On a scale that bigger than grand canyons

I’m going to take it further then the longest mile

And when I finish the race I’ll finish it in style

Self made man free from the scam

Taking the bull by the horns

Won’t be exposed to the sham

I’m going to be more then a novelty

I won’t play the part of a live jukebox see

I’ve got a sound that allows me to state my mind

Three dimensionally create my rhymes

It’s a sound that allows me to take my friends

On a ride through my minds eye

I can paint a picture so sad that you’re bound to cry

And I can make you laugh so hard that you’ll die

I don’t think I’m sly but I don’t want just one peace

I want the whole pie I might cross my heart

But I will never hope to die from this I’ll shy away

So come fly away with me and you’ll

be freed from you’re hum-drum

Daily grind and you’ll know that

Living laughing and loving ain’t that hard to find

You just got to look for the right place to unwind

Self made man free from the scam

Taking the bull by the horns

Won’t be exposed to the sham
